Microsoft renames SwiftKey Keyboard

SwiftKey Keyboard is very popular application available on Android and few years ago Microsoft Acquired SwiftKey and integrated some of cool features of SwiftKey into Windows 10. SwiftKey has been always learning and have the best of Text Auto Complete feature across multiple languages which was simply unbeatable.

Almost after four years of acquisition, Microsoft has renamed it and put their name in SwiftKey. Here is the official statement as available in Google Play Store listing of SwiftKey beta.

SwiftKey has a new name – we’re now Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard. Don’t worry, it’s still the same keyboard you know and love 💕

We’ve added support for Emoji 12.0 which introduces an assortment of new designs – some examples include: flamingo, otter, guide dog, sloth, white heart, mixed skin tones when holding hands, and a gender inclusive couple. You’ll be able to access the new emoji upon opening your SwiftKey emoji panel. Note: to see them you need a device with Android 10 (or above).

How to download new Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard?

Here is the good news, there is no beta joining scheme for SwiftKey on Google Play. Google Play Store has two different apps for regular version and beta version. Below are download links for Google Play Store of Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard.
