POCO F1, the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 845 SoC is getting Android P beta. MIUI 10 beta builds with Android 9 is being distributed with select beta testers.
However, links are available for Recovery ROM MIUI 10 with Android P for POCO F1 and you can install them via update page, package check gives error and stops if you are not authorized beta tester for the device.
You can install this via Updater app but you need to have beta authorized Mi account to install this update. Else, a error message will drop you installation at the package verification stage.
Android P & Q are promised for POCO F1
Head of Product at POCOPHONE, Jai Mani has answered a query on Twitter and confirmed that POCO F1 will be receiving two major builds.
As we know, POCO F1 is released with Android Oreo 8.1.0 few weeks and next major build is Android Pie 9.0 and then next version which is codenamed Android Q and will be Android 10.Â
Android Pie based MIUI builds are first shared by XDA-Developer.
