OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone company dedicated and in some way been able to kill the flagship of high cost smartphone of popular mobile brands like HTC, Samsung and other costly at budget price and premium look. Some time ago, OnePlus has launched OnePlus X, third device of the company with 3 GB RAM, Octa-core processor and  dual SIM with a hybrid slot capable of 4G or expandable storage.

The best thing about OnePlus phone, I liked is the user interface. I have used, HTC, Motorola, Samsung, Lenovo and other popular androids along with Nexus and Android One devices but everyone has something modified on core android and the layout except Nexus. However, Motorola is my second choice after Nexus if I have to decide based on user interface. But OnePlus has bring a version of Android, named Oxygen OS. It is almost stock and customized for further customization which is the main and widely known feature about OnePlus devices. They can be highly customized. OnePlus is committed to a update policy, they push an update for phone every month. Those updates contain security patches from Android team and other bug fixes and performance improvements.

These days, OnePlus is rolling out an update for OnePlus X. This update has build number as ONE E1003_14_160402. As the name clearly, suggest, this build is compiled on 2nd April 2016 and contains Android security patch level dated 1st April 2016. Here are some screenshots of the update.

This 284 MB update contains below fixes.

  1. Fix for data leak on roaming
  2. Fix for Google Hangout microphone mute bug
  3. App drawer fix
  4. GMS 3.0 upgrade
  5. APN support added for few telecom.
  6. Security Patch level update

and other updates.
