As we all know java improve it’s capability from starting versions up to java 8. Now it’s time to release Java 9. Earlier in this march JDK 9 is set to release on July 27. But Later in May The date is delayed to September 21.
Mark Reinhold, Chief architect in Oracle’s Java Platform Group purposed to “adjust the general availability date in order to accommodate the additional time required to move through the JCP process.” According to the source He said GA date is delayed out for 8 weeks form 27 July to 21 September.
Java 9 release date
The GA (General Availability) date already postponed once for 4 months saying there was few progress remaining in Jigsaw project. Jigsaw project is aimed to make JDK scalable for small computing devices.
