OnePlus has launched its latest smart televisions in India as a part of the new U series and Y series. OnePlus TV launch event is organized online and streamed for public.

The Televisions run on Android TV 9 Pie, and offer different features, sizes, and resolutions, depending on the variant.

The Y series is available in two sizes – 32-inch with HD resolution and 43-inch with full-HD resolution. while the U series is available in a single variant with a 55-inch Ultra-HD screen.

One Plus U series specifications, features:

U series is available in a single size variant of 55 inches, with a 4K LED screen and support for up to the Dolby Vision HDR format. Buy from Amazon.

• The TV is also having 93 percent color gamut on DCI-P3, which is the standard used in most cinema halls around the world.
• It aims to rival MI TV series along with Viu, RealMe, Motorola, Nokia, and others. They will also go up against Samsung, LG, and other major brands entry-level TVs in these sizes.
• It includes a dedicated Kids Mode so the children in the family can watch safe content.

U and Y series price & Availability in India:

All the three Smart TV variants will be on sale exclusively on Amazon. The company has confirmed that all TVs will be manufactured in India alongside the OnePlus phones including the OnePlus 8 series.

U series price is Rs 49,999.

Y series price is Rs 12,999 and Rs 22,999 respectively.

Despite the affordable pricing, Y series comes with Cinematic display similar to the U series. Both the 32-inch and 43-inch TV Y1 come with 93% DCI-P3 and following shared features.
