Talks about Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCOPHONE, POCO F2 are back and this time with more proofs.
Back when POCO F1 is launched in August 2018, Xiaomi’s sub-brand broke the internet and created tension among flagship smartphone makers. POCO F1 is launched as the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 845 Flagship processor.
Base variant of POCO F1 was launched at the price of INR 19,999 and now the 6GB/128GB variant which was on sale for fist time at 24999 is now available only on 14999.
Few weeks ago, when replying to a user, Pocophone Global Head, Alvin Tse teased about successor. Now the tweet appears to be deleted but here is the screenshot of archived version.
Now, according to a viral tweet, there are screenshots of Trademark Application for POCO F2 which appears from Chinese authority. Below is link to Tweet and screenshots attached.
According to images, the trademark application is filed almost a month ago, being exact on 4th December 2019.
Till now, we have no any official announcement regarding the device.
But, if we took above indications seriously, the announcement is scheduled very soon.
May be, Team of POCO F2 don’t want to face issues which were present on POCO F1 during the initial launch which were mostly fixed through software updates.
