Auto Deleting Calendar Invite in Outlook
But, by default, a feature which might feel incorrect to some persons like me, is enabled. Calendar Invite in Outlook are deleted once you respond. This might be because, once you respond to calendar invite in outlook, they are moved from emails to calendar.
If you are getting a lot of meeting requests and accept them and do not want them to appear in your email list, its turned on by default.
But personally, I want to see the invites in my emails as well. So in this article we will learn how to prevent outlook from deleting meeting requests automatically once we responded.
How to Prevent Deleting Calendar Invite in Outlook?
Well, as earlier mentioned, it is turned on by default. So lets find out how to disable this. The guide is applicable for Outlook 2010 and newer.
Step 1:
Click on File on Outlook and Choose Options.
Step 2:
Click on Mail from left sections and scroll to Send messages section.
Step 3:
Uncheck the Delete meeting requests and notifications from inbox after responding and click on OK button to apply and close dialogue box.
