Microsoft has released a new build of Windows 10 Insider Preview and this time, it is only for PC users. Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14942 for PC is released today in fast ring and it has major changes included. Lets see what is new in this build and what is not working in Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14942.

What is new in Build 14942?

  1. Hide App list in Start Menu.
  2. Photos app is revamped and looks great.
  3. Applications those are not installed before upgrade will not be added while upgrading to newer build.
  4. Windows Update has new icon.
  5. The most important update is all services host processes are slit into individual process itself excluding some critical service host. This will be done only on system with higher memory size of 3.5 GB.
